Friday Morning Lenten Healing Prayer

Parish Hall

There is so much that is hurting in our world and in our lives right now; we are in need of God’s strengthening touch.  On Friday mornings during Lent, Rev. Sarah will lead a service of healing and contemplative prayer from 8:00 – 8:30 a.m. before beginning our work/school/daily routines.  We will pray a short liturgy together (A Public Service for Healing, from Enriching our Worship) followed by an opportunity for individual prayers for healing & blessing/anointing to strengthen us for our faithful walk during these challenging times.  The parish hall space will be open 15 minutes before the service for quiet, contemplative prayer; please enter the parish hall with that spirit in mind!  Rev. Sarah will remain at St. Mark’s until 9 a.m. for those who wish to remain for prayer.  Dates for Lenten healing prayer at St. Mark’s: March 14, 21, 28, April 4 and 11.  While the St. Mark’s service will be in person, the St. Phoebe School will be praying the same liturgy of Healing Prayer via Zoom at the same time (8:00 a.m.) on Fridays during Lent.  Please use the St. Phoebe School Morning Prayer link if you would like to join a fully online Zoom gathering for Healing Prayer on Fridays during Lent.

Note: St. Phoebe School’s Morning Prayer via Zoom is also regularly available Monday – Friday at 8:00 a.m. and all are welcome to join at any time
