Parish Pastoral Conversations
Dear Beloved of St Mark’s,
As we have entered the year of our Lord, 2025, much of our collective and national life has been overwhelmed by chaos and abrupt changes. As I have sat in conversation with many of you over coffee, around tables of fellowship, in my office, and over the phone, it has become clear to me that there is a swelling need for pastoral care and pastoral conversations in the life of our parish family.
As Scripture so faithfully reminds us, “For everything there is a season…”, and for many this season has returned, and for others, this season has never left. We all come into these days with different concerns and experiences, but our aim is to strengthen our bonds of love for one another, and for our community. And, with the grace of God, to put our love into action.
But first, let us come together to be reminded that we are One in Christ, and when one suffers, we all suffer; and when one is in need, we all share in that ministry. Below, you will find the dates and times, when we are making space available for these Parish Pastoral Conversations. Six in-person opportunities and two Zoom opportunities. Our hope is that there is enough diversity of offerings that everyone who desires it will be able to attend at least one session. And as always, I am available for one-on-one sessions too, just let me know.

I am grateful for the honor and privilege to walk in love with you all, here at St Mark’s. May God’s grace, mercy, and love strengthen us for our ministry together.

Benjamin +
